weather systems on great campaigns throughout the ages, and shows how
the weather could be a commander’s greatest ally or his fiercest
foe. The series also traces the effects of the harsh weather conditions
on the men that fought in the extreme environments. Leading experts
from the Army Medical Directorate at Aldershot explain the effects of
ailments such as trench foot, frost-bite, scurvy, sun-stroke etc.
