18 x 55 minute programmes on board some of the world’s most luxurious, steam, diesel and electric locomotives. As we travel through some of the world’s most exotic scenery we explore the locomotive, its history and livery. We spend time on the footplate with the driver and are taken on a tour of each train by the guard, who tells us about the accommodation and facilities on board. We are also told all we need know about the scenery and locations en route. The programmes are recorded with digital cameras to give a “filmic” feel of glorious colour and picture postcard realism, with Dolby Surround.
