The Themes of Shakespeare Series features leading Shakespearean authorities tackling some of the most commonly posed questions surrounding the works of Shakespeare.

Also featured are extracts from the award-winning feature films of Macbeth and King Lear, along with specially-commissioned films of the major plays, featuring distinguished members of the Stratford Shakespeare Company.

Leading academics from the Shakespeare Institute, Stratford upon Avon and the Shakespeare Centre address the themes of each play and analyse the issues which arise from a detailed study of the plays.
